KunYu

Your GIS Toolbox, Online

Coordinate conversion, EPSG search, GeoJSON editing, format conversion — all in one place, no install needed.

What is KunYu?

KunYu is a free, all-in-one online GIS toolbox designed for developers, surveyors, and geospatial professionals. Named after the Kunyu Wanguo Quantu (坤舆万国全图) — the first complete world map in Chinese history, created in 1602 — KunYu carries the spirit of mapping the world into the digital age.

GIS professionals often juggle between multiple websites for different tasks: epsg.io for coordinate reference system lookups, geojson.io for editing, mapshaper for geometry simplification, and scattered scripts for coordinate conversion. KunYu consolidates all these capabilities into a single, fast platform with 18 professional tools covering coordinate conversion, EPSG search, GeoJSON editing, format conversion, spatial analysis, and more.

Every computation runs entirely in your browser using WebAssembly and modern JavaScript libraries like Proj4js, Turf.js, and MapLibre GL JS. Your data never leaves your device — no uploads, no server processing, no account required.
